Information for Health Information Exchanges

The need for better efficiency and productivity in health care is clear. Still, the potential value of health information exchange has been limited by the lack of a clear business model. Federal funding for state level health information exchanges will not last forever. Entities that have selected a clearly sustainable business model will prosper.
The National Health Trust business model is clearly sustainable from the first day. The approach is designed to solve real problems in a practical manner. Physicians, practices, and hospitals who recognize gaps in their meaningful use of health information technology can use participation in the Trust to fill these gaps.
